City of Baldemar
Old town stands on the original site of Westnedge. Once this area was jammed with rude wooden shelters and tents clustered around the central stone tower. As the little settlement grew, all the temporary shelters were replaced by fewer, but more substantial structures. Later, a new western wall was added, High Road was rerouted to the south, and a new Main Gate was cut into the south wall. The western section of Old Town, surrounded by stron walls, was chosen to house the government, since it was more secure than the eastern portion.
